- inactive, on 02/29/2008, -0/+33I don't think that line is as irresistible as you think it is
- protodon, on 02/29/2008, -0/+30I'd love to see the look on the pizza delivery guy's face.
- MikeL123, on 02/29/2008, -1/+28Water tower? I don't see a water tower, that's just a really tall house!
- paulg2000, on 02/29/2008, -2/+28Apparently you can even stay there: http://www.houseintheclouds.co.uk/accommodation.ht ...

- slvrbullet87, on 02/29/2008, -1/+13They definately went over the top to make it less ugly, most of the time they just make them look like golf balls, or the smiley face.

- Mothity, on 02/29/2008, -6/+16It's not a water tower, it's a converted wind-mill. Been there before.
- ahawks, on 02/29/2008, -0/+9Yes, and the radioactive ickiness will surely contaminate the water supply!! NOOO!!!
You won't believe this, but your sewage lines even run RIGHT UNDER YOUR FLOOR!

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ee ... - mrhahn, on 02/29/2008, -0/+7Power shower? One that uses electricity to heat/pump the water...
- rnelsonee, on 02/29/2008, -0/+7Although for this house, it's not necessarily used to heat the water, but to pump it. The irony of course is that the reason that this particular house needs a pump is because the house is located at a higher altitude that the town's water tower. As such, gravity can't be used to provide pressure up to the shower nozzle.

- daEvan, on 02/29/2008, -1/+7You seriously just smacked me in the face with your stupidity.
- Shockerusa, on 02/29/2008, -2/+8"Bathroom with WC, bath and electric shower." WTF? Electric shower??
- TheInfamousOne, on 02/29/2008, -3/+8Down.
- Haecceity, on 02/29/2008, -3/+8You must be American, but I can understand the confusion. It means a shower that heats cold water as it passes through rather than by taking hot water from a tank.
- shadowspawn, on 02/29/2008, -1/+5I winced when I saw the pool table. That's quite a bit of a walk for those slabs.

WTF! You'd need to be pretty stupid to get confused over a water tower. They do it all over the place.. it's not some new fangled thing... ffs - pwhite3, on 02/29/2008, -2/+4When you first saw the article is Santa's well being really the first thing that came to mind?

- stellamaris, on 02/29/2008, -0/+1Maybe they mean electrically heated?
- Mothity, on 03/01/2008, -0/+1Suffolk is famous for its windmills, after going there a few times in recent years in family holiday's you get to know this kinda stuff. The House In The Sky has information boards outside it saying it used to be a mill. That's unsurprising, as Suffolk is really flat so the wind from the sea sweeps across pretty much unbroken by the landscape (hence the reason for the county being dotted with windmills really frequently). The house also happens to be right next to a boating lake.
